Hahnville Vol. Fire Dept

The Hahnville VFD is offering the citizens of St. Charels Parish yet another free service which follows their motto of "Protection of Life and Property". Starting on the first Thursday of August  2009 and every First Thurday therafter at the station located at 14890 River Road near the courthouse, the department will offer FREE car seat installation, Inspection and Training by certified car seat technicians.The times of the event will be 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This is a FREE service and the best way you can protect your most valuable cargo

 Motor vehicle crashes are one of the single greatest killers of Americans. An average of 117 people die each day in motor vehicle crashes - that about 1 person every 12 minutes.

 MOTOR VEHICLE CRASHES ARE THE LEADING CAUSE OF DEATHS AMONG CHILDREN AGES 2-14, DUE IN A LARGE PART TO THE NONUSE OF CHILD SEATS AND SEAT BELTS.

 PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS PROTECTED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE IN A MOTOR VEHICLE.
